What you need for the application dossier

Applications are submitted via the Paris Académie website. The following documents are required:

  1. School results and reports for the current and previous years. If your child is in a school abroad, records can be submitted in English; other languages require an official translation.
  2. Livret de famille or birth certificate
  3. Custody certificate if you are divorced.
  4. Two proofs of Paris or Paris suburb address (tax, insurance etc). If relocating without a fixed address, a letter attesting to temporary residence or a work contract showing relocation to Paris can be used.
  5. School choices — first, second and third choice strongly recommended.
  6. Transport time and means from home to school.
  7. Déclaration de pratique linguistique — This form informs the Rectorate about where and how your child has learnt English and can be found on the Paris Académie website.
